What You’ll Experience
The starting point of our hike is the Bridge of Kosel River in the village Openica. It’s an old Macedonian village located on the eastern side of Ohrid and has an elevation of 770 m.a.s.l.
We walk through the old houses made of stone and mud before we take the route in the forest.
On this slightly climbing traverse you will hear interesting facts about the village, winery and in the same time enjoy beautiful views of the valley.
On the way down we slightly go to the left by the water springs until we reach the monastery of St. Cosmas and Damian and the Monastery Winery where we will taste special and delicious wines.
